I disagree with your review as well. I have the original insert as well as the STU. While I think the STU is excellent I find that I cum really quickly with it. With the original fleshlight I can last much longer and with all the time it takes to heat up the fleshlight prior to use I like to be able to have a nice long session.

I have some tips for everyone.. I’ve had my fleshlight for a few weeks and it hasn’t taken long for me to get resourceful.
I was looking for a place to post this, but there doesn’t seem to be a general forum or a contact email addy, so here it is..

- Most of us heat the fleshlight in hot water before use.. I’ve been doing that, but I like to fuck it for a bit, then come back and fuck it some more, and it will get cold during sessions.. use a blow dryer and heat it up.. you will also dry it out at the same time. You could use the blow dryer after you clean it instead of a fan, it’s quicker and easier. You can also keep the dryer handy while you’re using the fleshlight if you want to heat it up a little more. Also, lube your fleshlight up first, then use the blow dryer on it to warm the fleshlight & the lube at the same time. I’ve also used the dryer to warm the bottle of lube – works well.

Another neat idea is to get yourself a pair of panties and sort of ‘put them on’ the flesh light – so the cotton gusset of the panties is on the ‘slit’ of the fleshlight, pull the crotch of the panties aside and give ‘er – adds a little more to the entire experience. You can also use the rest of the panties around the sleeve of the fleshlight as a sort of rag if your hands are slippery – after you cum it’s also a little more intimate if you’re wipping up your mess with a pair of soft panties instead of a towel, T-shirt etc.

I was quite skeptical about the whole concept at first, but the fleshlight seems well made and actually comes somewhat close to the real thing.

The need to warm and lube it isn’t too bad, but does make it difficult to use discreetly. The suction feature is a nice touch, but even when it’s fully tightened, it makes a sort of wheezing sound that must be rather comical to anyone listening outside the bedroom or bathroom.

Overall, it’s a great product, and seems built to last.

Got this FL original pink as my first sex toy(well one of 3 sex toys I ordered together). The packaging didn’t disappoint. Very sharp and nicely presented. I use the sex-in-a-can original wonder wave unit. I bought two rubber end caps and drilled small holes in each for air flow. I have one end cap unit with a smaller hole for long slow strokes. The other end cap unit has a larger hole to allow faster strokes. The sex-in-a-can unit is tighter than the full size version. Astroglide works best for this unit. The best thing about this smooth, boring sleeve is cleanup, it’s dull compared to the others, though it’s mellow enough you can ejaculate without the hypersensitivity. (the other sleeves are so intense, it’s hard to “work through” the finish)

It is better than hand though (and in some ways, nicer because you don’t have to “aim” when you shoot to prevent the mess)

For lube: Keep it water based.

If you use hair conditioner it’ll always smell like shampoo, so I’d probably avoid using anything scented.

xantian gum and water are the best (MUCH better than commercial lube) less than a teaspoon of xantian gum to 1/4 cup of water makes a thick slippery lube, you can dribble water in the back side to gradually thin it out while using, best of all, it’s CHEAP, one packet of xantian gum will probably last a lifetime.

Biggest expense is alcohol (I like to use a little alcohol each time during cleanup)

I prefer the other sleeves, but I usually end up cleaning them with a tooth brush.

Bring a pail of hot water (and an empty pail) in your room with you, let it soak to heat up, use it, then clean up using the warm water used earlier, this way you won’t have to risk getting caught carrying it to the sink.

I use alcohol and shove a lint free rag through it to keep it dry for storage.

These things are NOT easy to hide, they’re huge and you’ll have supplies to hide as well, so if this is a concern, you should have a spot to conceal it planned out before buying. (they’re much larger than regular “flash lights”, the idea of “stealth” is a joke)
